To be honest, staying in Copenhagen is expensive. This was the cheapest place nearest to the city centre. But it's overrun with tourists / backpackers / students, etc. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. You don't have housekeeping, if you want a clean towel you need to take your old one to reception for exchange. Reception - this is a challenge. So when we arrived we were too early for check in, by about half hour. So we were told we were too early and needed to wait until the magic hour of 3pm. It was 2.30pm so we though we'd hang around reception. We noticed an electronic number board above each staff station on the reception desk, which suddenly at 2.55pm started changing by incremental numbers. Why is this? Then we realised we should have been told to "take a number" from the machine so we could have our turn at reception. So that meant we'd wasted some time. Took our number and waited our turn. Check in was sort of straight forward, although the receptionist tried to charge us when we'd already paid at the time of booking. But she was still learning the role so we didn't make a fuss. You have to take a ticket if you want to buy something from the reception area, you can't do two separate things on one ticket! So once we'd booked in we had to wait until our other number came up so we could buy a drink. Rooms - small but has everything you need. The tap in the bathroom leaked every time it was turned on, so I went back to reception (took a ticket) and asked if it could be mended. However, maintenance do not work weekends, so the earliest it could be mended was Monday (we were leaving Monday so that was that). It's quite a walk in to the city centre, the Cabinn is based in the business district so don't expect a leisurely stroll, it's more like a 15 minute fast walk to anywhere.

I would like to praise the reception staff, who were very friendly, helpful and ready to help whenever I needed something. I am also satisfied with the other services, given that this is a really big hotel with a high frequency of people. The breakfast is perfectly satisfactory considering the price and the two-star hotel, and whenever I came for breakfast, there was always enough of everything and it was always clean area! The bed was also comfortable and the hotel was tidy during my 14-day stay. I highly recommend it, as the price/comfort ratio is exceptional.

It met my expectations and was value for money… a sort of cross between a hostel and a hotel. Hoardes of young folk but also a lot of travellers like myself, not needing fancy but wanting a level of comfort above a hostel. Staff were very friendly and rooms were functional but immaculately clean. A bit of labyrinth navigating the building, but I got the hang of it after the first day. Convenient for the centre if you like a walk along the waterfront. Also not too far from the main railway station.

Cheap rooms, reasonably situated in the city, the apartments have a fridge, which was a must for me on this trip. I like the impersonal atmosphere, you can come and go as you please, at any hour of the day or night, without raised eyebrows. I have stayed here several times, and I will stay here again in the future. I love being able to prepare my own breakfast in my room, and even make ready made dishes in the microwave. It gives you value for your money.

it’s hard to rate this hotel as it’s not glam as other hotels would be but I really enjoyed the stay and had everything I needed! - Super fast wifi available everywhere (200Mb/s down/up), so I was able to work with ease. - Amazingly equipped gym. Squat rack, heavy dumbbells, all you need really. - Super cheap - An alright breakfast - Microwave in the room and a tiny kitchen basically - Self laundry services which were reasonably priced (£3.5 for a batch)
