To be honest, staying in Copenhagen is expensive. This was the cheapest place nearest to the city centre. But it's overrun with tourists / backpackers / students, etc. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. You don't have housekeeping, if you want a clean towel you need to take your old one to reception for exchange. Reception - this is a challenge. So when we arrived we were too early for check in, by about half hour. So we were told we were too early and needed to wait until the magic hour of 3pm. It was 2.30pm so we though we'd hang around reception. We noticed an electronic number board above each staff station on the reception desk, which suddenly at 2.55pm started changing by incremental numbers. Why is this? Then we realised we should have been told to "take a number" from the machine so we could have our turn at reception. So that meant we'd wasted some time. Took our number and waited our turn. Check in was sort of straight forward, although the receptionist tried to charge us when we'd already paid at the time of booking. But she was still learning the role so we didn't make a fuss. You have to take a ticket if you want to buy something from the reception area, you can't do two separate things on one ticket! So once we'd booked in we had to wait until our other number came up so we could buy a drink. Rooms - small but has everything you need. The tap in the bathroom leaked every time it was turned on, so I went back to reception (took a ticket) and asked if it could be mended. However, maintenance do not work weekends, so the earliest it could be mended was Monday (we were leaving Monday so that was that). It's quite a walk in to the city centre, the Cabinn is based in the business district so don't expect a leisurely stroll, it's more like a 15 minute fast walk to anywhere.

Stayed a whole week there. From Friday to Friday. Loved the fact that I was put on the 8th floor. It was quiet, which I loved. My room had a good seize for 1 person. The bathroom and shower are divided by a curtain. The location was good. Not far from the train station. It's like 10 mins away. Did not use any of the other spaces at that hotel. Pretty much stayed in my room once back from my daily activities. There's a kitchenette. A microwave to heat up your food. No cooking. Extra cleaning is available for a fee. Cleaning is every 7 days or so. They do let you know that the rooms aren't cleaned every day. Now I guess because I had the "don't disturb" sign up is/would be the reason my room ended up not being cleaned for a whole week. I was kind of annoyed at seeing dust on the floor and having to empty my own trash. Which is fine, but at least vacuum the floor or put a broom in the rooms so people can broom the floor. Anyways, it was a good stay nonetheless.

It was really conveniently located, close to so many tourist attractions, shopping centers and restaurants while also being really close to the bus station. It wasn’t anything incredible or mind blowing but there was a self check-in option, the atmosphere of the reception and lounge were cozy and classy, the rooms were snug and practical, and the beds and sheets were actually quite comfortable. I also really enjoyed how secure and safe everything felt. You couldn’t use the elevator or stairs without a keycard, which was just reassuring. All around, it was great!

it’s hard to rate this hotel as it’s not glam as other hotels would be but I really enjoyed the stay and had everything I needed! - Super fast wifi available everywhere (200Mb/s down/up), so I was able to work with ease. - Amazingly equipped gym. Squat rack, heavy dumbbells, all you need really. - Super cheap - An alright breakfast - Microwave in the room and a tiny kitchen basically - Self laundry services which were reasonably priced (£3.5 for a batch)

Martin

Well located to public transport (metro and central station >15 walk), as well as access to the city (you can be in the main centre in 20 mins.) Rooms were compact but perfect for a short city stay. Check in was easy and staff were extremely helpful. Hairdryer available for free from front desk as well as parking (at a cost about £25 for 24 hrs) and huge lockers (about £4 for 6 hours but could easily fit 3 large rucksacks in each).
